About Rebecca Hanscombe (Beckie)

wo;fBeckie is a Shamanic Practitioner with a long history of working with Substance abuse in a professional setting. She encourages evolution through her warm sense of humour and her ability to hold sacred space, creating a sense of tribe.

She has worked with Dance and Movement for the last 11 years primarily within both female and male prisons. Beckie is very interested in Getting into altered states of consciousness through the body and has also studied Yoga, Qi gong, psychocalisthenics and Osho’s active meditations.

She believes that Ecstatic Trance Dance is the fastest safest most fun way to get out of the thinking of the head and into the feeling of the body. When I dance I create a space for miracles to happen, nothing can match the pure joy of moving my body in time with the music, opening up my tribalheart to beat in unity with all.

About Tara Mc Guinness

taraTara has always been drawn to the spiritual and esoteric worlds. Life changing transformations started to move through her life when she acknowledged the body as a doorway to the divine. Moving away from being stuck in the mind, and reconnecting to the body, enabled so much release it inspired her to deliver some of the various methods which have helped her on her own journey.

Courage and self-growth have been motivated in her through shamanic practices, magickal crafts, breathwork, Tantra, Osho’s teaching, and particularly active meditations. The tools she works with, of meditation, massage, healing and trance dance aim to anchor one deep in the body, therefore making it easier to access guides, inner wisdom, joy and self love.

Tara is a qualified mental health nurse and has specialised in the field of addictions working in the NHS for past 10yrs. She has been practising different methods of healing for the past 12 years.

Beckie and Tara are both certified to teach Amoda’s method of Ecstatic Trance Dance.
